Footprint Project
Description:
This project was a footprint introduction project. I started with putting my name in big letters in the middle of my footprint and around my name added things that are important to me and things that resemble some of my likes and interests.
- Flowers: I put flowers on my footprint because I love picking out different types of flowers and also receiving them.
- Teacher: I drew a picture of a teacher because I have always wanted to be a teacher and that is what I am going to school for.
- Radio: I put this on my footprint because I love listening to music.
- Dog: This is my dog Sadie. She is one of my best friends.
- Coloring: The picture with an apple and crayons represents coloring. I love to color because it gives me something to do and a chance to be creative.
- RedBull Tab: I put a RedBull tab on my footprint because I love trying all of the different kinds/flavors and because it is one of my favorite drinks.
- Plant Stamp: I put a stamp of a plant on my footprint because I love collecting and growing different types of plants.
- Photo of me Hiking: I love traveling and being outdoors. I love seeing new scenery and landscapes.
- Redfield's Sign: I grew up and went to school in Redfield. It is important to me because that's where mostly all my family is.
- Diet Coke: I love drinking Diet Coke and it is always my drink of choice.
- Book: I love to read and "escape reality". I mostly read in the summer or whenever I have time to.
- NSU: Northern is where I am going to get my education and is also where I have met some of my best friends.
- Coffee: I work at a coffee shop in my hometown (Redfield) and also love everything coffee!
- Family Photo: Family is the most important thing in the world to me and they are my biggest supporters.
- Friends: I love hanging out with my friends and going to all of the different sporting events, even though I may not know what is going on!
Extension Activity:
An extension activity to do in the classroom is to do a history footprint about a historical figure the student chooses. Students will have to find a historical figure and put things pertaining to that person around the footprint. Students will then tell the class about the person they chose and that persons importances, hobbies, etc.
